Either you will get this film or you won't. I got it in the 80s when I first saw it, and I still get it today. If you can appreciate a hauntingly beautiful work and can understand the emotional undertones, you'll get it. If you prefer Steven Segal …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

This movie has an amazing feel to it. Very creepy, sexy, dreamy...
The music is exquisite, mostly gems from the classical idiom which fit perfectly with the dark, timeless nature of the story.
This is a great movie for those not wanting rampant violence, …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

I did admire the style it gave very much, but the movie got way too weird. The story was pretty good …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

or you have to be gay to enjoy this. Because it's basically a few lesbian scenes attached to a very surreal and choppy storyline. The movie constantly makes its audience fill in the blanks as to how it got from one scene to the next. I enjoy surreal …more»2 of 2 people found this review helpful-

I bought this movie never seeing it before, and I was excited to watch it for the first time.
I was drawn into the dark nature of the movie - when I heard Bauhaus playing at the begining... but in a flash - the movie had turned in 10 different ways …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

I love this movie. I've seen 10 times and I've introduced countless friends to it. It stands as one of the best vampire movies I've seen. The story is original, the scenes are fantastic, and the actors superlative. Who can imagine Catherine …more»1 of 1 people found this review helpful
