The first movie wasn't as shocking as the reviews lead us to believe. Let's admit it, we laughed at the concept and felt a little turned on once the human centipede was revealed. And the gore was mostly off screen and implied.
Part 2 was suppose to be so extremely gory that it would make the first movie look like "my little pony." Well ok, there was plenty of gore, but once again it was more funny than it was shocking. You can expect to see close ups of cutting open body parts, stapling stuff to other stuff, and a baby scene that will leave you asking "what the hell was the point of that?"
But once again, I wasn't shocked. Perhaps it is because I have seen real life gore like 3 guys one hammer, and other beheading/beating stuff that I am desensitized to "movie" gore. Maybe it's because I was expecting the worst and only got "pretty bad". Either way, if you are like me and have seen some of the worst real life videos out there, then this movie is watchable. If you are unfamiliar with movie gore or feel uncomfortable with nudity, blood, poop, death, and graphic images, then I don't think you will enjoy this movie at all.
Also, I don't think the Black and White aspect added anything to the feel of the movie. I actually would have liked to see it in color. I will probably continue to watch these movies and will wait patiently for part 3. However, part 2 left me asking "that was it? that was suppose to be the most gory movie ever made? Fail."
