what Happened Peter ???? Evidently too much CGI to make Hollywood Happy

Cave trolls in the LOTR fellowship ( were monstrous) and tough foes To the group in the mines. . The three cave trolls in the Hobbit... were talking, and acting stupid like I was watching them come out of the cheesy movie "Labrynth".
What ruined this movie was alot of things. For me...the evident CGI. Just cheapened down an entired world I so desperately wanted to get " sucked " into .. It was used way too much, that it felt it was used to save money. The studios and all those cheap hollywood idiots .. probably forced jackson to apease the studios to not spend money to hire actor-extras, make up artists, waredrobe.. ect. The Pale Orc..... i wanted to love that antagonistic character so darn bad...but it felt so fake......why couldnt they have found a REAL 7ft tall actor.. suit him up in a pal orc outfit... ( why????).... in the LOTR trilogy. . You felt the Orcs looked so ' real, nazgùl looked so real. . Because they actually (were.) .. obviously that forumla worked enough to make the Lotr a classic.. not CGI #$%$ in the hobbit. .. CGI was used only to compliment scenery or war scenes in the older movies..to replicate the Masses... not so in the Hobbit. The ENTIRE goblin scene in the mine was and absolute MESS. was so CGI'd to death.. it felt like the movie Labrynth meets CGI instead of puppet s.. even old characters from the LOTR trilogy.. didnt have depth ( even in the short scenes they had). .. What a shame.... so much " feeling " and depth of Characters were missing. You never feel a sense of " urgency", panic, love, concern or attachment to any characters.... when you were in Helms deep. You FELT like you were in helms deep... in Rohan.. because the sets were REAL. You felt as if you were visiting Rohan ...there were so many extensive Real sets in the old movies. And we were able to delve in the various communities of middle earth with the feeling of attachment. .. I just felt CGI was used as a scape goat to not hire extra-Actors-make up artists. To keep costs down.... I feel I have been green screened to death.
Even the Elves world lacked the reverence, of the " God " like behavior.. and depth of world. Immortal sense of their existence....
Peter... when you have an older trilogy that did so well.. you should have stuck with the old formula...go back and watch your old trilogy... ..
This only proves my theory that prequels should NEVER BE DONE AS AN AFTER THOUGHT.. when LOTR became a classic .. i guess it set tbe bar too high. Its hard to go back and replicate that ..they never are the same because they will always be compared to Lotr..we cant help that... LTOR.. had nothing to compare itself to... so when it became a hit .. it also became a classic. The Hobbit was no doubt the worst.. no thanks to the studios cheap wallets.. well... im sad to say... I dont have that ( yearning ) to see the second one next year... as I did for the Two towers 10 years ago. .. I feel depressed. .. balls .. infact... I will wait for it on blue ray...
