made a great childrens book into a garbage adult movie with add-on's and adaptations that destroyed the original intention. sad, really. jackson should be ashamed and money not that important. i have no intention on seeing the other two movies and hope someone makes a film that truly captures tolkiens work. to think that stretching out a childrens book into 3 extended movies is done for anything less then money is missing the obvious (which can be made plain by viewing this atrocious film).
