Zombie Tolkien returns from dead to slay Jackson due to bad movie
Does anyone in Tolkien's family actually approve the script before the movie is made? Or are they just too busy spending the royalties from these abhorrent movies to care. I will say that Jackson does a great job in capturing a visual of Middle Earth but his ability to create a movie which actually captivates the movie viewer is sorely lacking. The movie drags right from the start and gets worse from there. He makes little attempt to convey any of the ideas of the novel and seems driven to change the story even though it doesn't make it a better movie. I wonder why Jackson didn't just write his own movie script. If he only seeks to impress vapid movie viewers with CGI, there is no need to ruin a good book in the process. I'm quite sure if Tolkien was alive, this movie wouldn't had happen. Ultimately, if you are seeking a memorable experience and you have a younger daughter, son, brother, sister, etc, Go buy the book and read it to them. My brother read the book to me when I was 10 and when I was older, I did the same for my son. Priceless...
