The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey(2012)- User Reviews

I think Peter Jackson has taken too many liberties with the story. I will not see this in the theater again. A couple of major deviations and countless minor ones made this disappointing for me.

A couple scenes (that Jackson took liberties with) were basically repeats from LOTR Moria scenes. I will not give specifics as I do not want to spoil it.

I will tell you that my 8 year old liked it.

I honestly think that the animated Rankin/Bass production of The Hobbit was a better representation.
