The Hobbit did not disappoint - When will the next be released? The start of the movie has the magical fairy-tale feel of the Shire and plenty of humor in it with Bilbo's unexpected dinner party. I was close to tears of joy as Bilbo finally agreed to join the Dwarves and I could tell this was going to be another GREAT movie in the series. Wanted to stand up and applaude, but I doubt my mate would have appreciated that.
Bilbo is excellently portrayed by Martin Freeman, who brings humanity and humor to his role. Thankfully some of our old favorites from the past were back to play their parts in the Hobbit and the new cast of Dwarves were gexcellent, especially Richard Armitage as Thorin.
The only 2 things that were disappointing were the stone mountain scene - They NEVER could have survived that. Never.
And.
It ended! Arrrgh.
