If you have read the book, then you should have not been dissapointed. I cried like four times from just pure enjoyment. A cartoon version was all Hobbit fans had to use as a visual besides thier own minds. I wanted Del Toro but am glad Jackson was involved again. Hearing the songs was cool since I used to think it was a waste in the book. How can people be critical because it is too long? Tolkien meant to take you away and this movie is living strong in my heart with respect to the author. A must see in the movie theatres. Do not wait for DVD! I can't wait for the finale!
