I went to see the HFR (High Frame Rate) version of the Hobbit. It was nothing short visually of stunning. The first breath as the movie started was a 'wow'.

At nearly 2hrs 45min long this movie is too long. The first 1 1/2 hrs is dull and boring and lifeless. Once it kicks in the story-line is just not interesting enough. If you have read and enjoy or value The Hobbit as a book, I cannot recommend that you see this movie. Jackson and Co. took far too much liberty in their contorting and twisting of the plot and characterization. What you're left with feels more like …more»3 of 4 people found this review helpful-

Thank you Peter Jackson for bringing the HOBBIT to life.
This movie was worth the wait.
If you had like the first three moives and loved the books .
You will enjoy this flim.

I saw it in 3D: Excellent movie- very well done.
