This movie was one word: boring. There was not enough plot and just too many random things going on. Too many long conversations, random singing scenes, etc. I almost fell asleep in the beginning just waiting for the journey to get started!

You lose yourself in a good movie. Your drawn in and you forget that your just a spectator. This movie is not a good movie. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie experience. Cannot understand the bad reviews and detractors. Oh well, see the movie and decide for yourself. Thought it was a great experience visiting Tolkiens world again. Cant wait for part 2. ..........................................................................................
