they are probably shooting the next installment and that way, when the hobbit comes out, the next one will be ready in a year or two.

This might be the first time I go to a midnight release of a film. I have been waiting for this release since 2005.

I can't wait, this is my favorite book of all time, and the first real book I read as a child. With Peter Jackson at the helm, this can't be anything but unbelievable.

Although I've always enjoyed the LOTR, I wouldn't consider myself a "fan"--until I witnesssed Jackson's epic film trilogy; he has the vision to bring Tolkien's world to life. I have faith he'll do the same justice to the prequel.
