Why did they change the story so much from the book? The book placed alot of emphasis the intense fear that Aibeleen, Minny and Skeeter had about being harmed because of what they were doing. The movie sort of blows over it like it was not that big of deal. And they left out parts between Minny and Miss Celia that showed alot about how the lines of separation between white and black can be blurred in a positive way. I know they can't put everything in but they left out some of the most significant parts and made things happen they did not even happen in the book. They changed the whole reason that Constantine left Skeeter's and that was a huge thing in the book. It just did not present the deepness of the racism in Jackson as realistically as I had hoped after reading the book.
