The Help(2011)- User Reviews

I read the book and fell in love with all these characters... I actually felt myself missing them when I had finished the book. The movie was really well done, some of the story line had to be abbreviated for time, and some of the significant but smaller parts were left out, like why she's called Skeeter, and why Constantine presses her thumb to her palm etc. I thought the acting was great,especially Hilly, she made me hate her through the whole movie, which is a job well done!

All the people who gave this a negative review because they are 'sick of evil white people movies and racism' - its not like an over done Hollywood theme, these events actually took place. Its American history... a little sugar coated for the main stream, but history all the same.

Great movie and book - they compliment each other very well.
