I didn't read the book, but now I have it one my list. It is a story that should make you feel uncomfortable. American history has some tragic plot lines throughout it and this is clearly one of them.

I rarely go to the movies because I am usually disappointed, but this one was worth the money. Great story and great acting. Great time piece. An interesting and unique story (which is rare in Hollywood). It was one of those movie were you actually forget you are watching a movie and are disappointed when it’s over.

For those of you that have racial issues STILL, you may be offended by such a bright light being pointed in your direction. Everyone else should not have any difficulties in appreciating this movie.
