I liked this movie a lot, but I didn't absolutely love it. I thought the acting was very good, except the girl telling the story, Emma Stone. She was the weakest part of the entire movie. Her character had no personality. Even when she stuck up for people who were discriminated against, she did it with no emotion. Blah. The other characters were very strong and that's why the movie was good. The story is good, too. But, I also am tired of seeing movies about race. It's overdone. Nowadays, maids are discriminated against not because of race but because of class and status. Understandably, things were different back then and racism was a lot worse, which the movie shows. Still, I'm bored with the genre, and this movie is all about that.
