The Heartbreak Kid(2007)- User Reviews

Wow! This is my favorite Ben Stiller movie to date. A real solid made film, with all the right insinuations for a real story full of humor! Ben is really allowed to flourish in his talents and go to 'another level' of genuine fun in this movie, in my opinion. Quite different from the formula of, say, "meet the parents" -- where there are really funny one-liners -- but the movie as a whole seems silly as it is watched over and over. This "kid" film is watcheable, and increasingly enjoyable each time it is viewed. This is because of the solidness of the characters developed.
+ The characters ability to be a "heartbreaker" is proven, and real in a way which can't help but make you laugh. Great direction!
