Few laughs, quite serious and 1/2 bad; 1/2 good and 1/2 a script
My husband was rolling his eyes between glaring at me during first 30 minutes, the movie was that poor. The first half of the script should have been kicked back to Dan Fogelman for re-writes. It was not ready for prime time. It was nothing but boring, unfunny cliches. The second half of the movie dug a little deeper and was sweet and touching by the end. Still it doesn't measure up to Albert Brook's "Mother," which was the total package with fun and well-written characters. At least this won't depress you but I'd wait for DVD.
