Production values are barely television, performance are somnabulistic, there's no hint of a director, much less a script.
Its a pitch, with two fine and funny actors.
It could have been dark and funny, it could have been "Harold and Maude" or "The Freshman", something dark and funny and ironic.
But its not any of those things . . . its just dull and mediocre.
