This unpretentious movie was so unlike most melodramatic sports movie, that is was real. The characters were like transported from another time. The story was true and credible. The acting, especially from Gerard Butler, was fantastic. You believed each actor. This was just a well done, excellent film that never went too far, but always went delivered enough without making a mockery of a true event. A truly well done film for the whole family, one with virtue and one with characters who are real in it. It's a shame there are not more films like this and it deserves good success because there just aren't enough movies like it around anymore.
