As a child of the 1970s, most of this took place before I can really remember. So, most of my understanding is through reading or tv/movies. This is an amazing insight from behind the scenes from a true insider during a time in U.S history that saw a complete transformation of the people and thought process of who we are as a society.
This is an amazing film, on such an important subject. Not only does it reflect on Vietnam, but can be used to look at what is happening today. This gives the thought process that was taking place, without the liberal slant that occurs so often with of media. This is a movie that Michael Moore would never make, because he can not see through his "fogged" over liberal glasses.
Anyone that is interested in international affairs, international relations, government policy should watch this, and I am sure will love seeing a side and a mind set that is not usually shown by the liberal hollywood establishment.
