Excellent, and candid interview. Very informative, and enlightening. I thought the director was obnoxious, a leftist political slant, which I thought was inappropriate and irritating. Gives you an inside perspective of political struggles. Something that could easily be compared and contrasted with today's events.
Offers view points that can be applied through out history and human life.

The movie is great showing us the inside of wars. We can feel the difficulty of decision-making in the war time through McNamara's confession.

One of the most revealing documentaries I've seen especially from a man who had such power at one time within our gov. I appreciated his honesty to a certain extent, but admitting he was a "War Criminal" just took the breathe out of me. …more»2 of 4 people found this review helpful-

Awesome White house tapes, War footage, and Visuals, and McNamara.
We Vietnam war protesters were absolutely sure the war was wrong. And now many are equally sure about Iraq.

A must see film that had me thinking about our present world problems. I kept wishing that our national leaders had seen this film before sending us into Iraq.

The visual effects are pleasing. The presentation was very personal. It seemed as though McNamara spoke to my face in the film.
