I liked the fact that for once the main characters were not cops and it actually didn't involve the typically gun shooting scenes. The movie is primarily story driven and at times could be seen as quite disturbing. The movie has great potential to be great, but never really got there. I did enjoy the movie, but I can't say it was a great movie, or even a good movie to recommend. It was never the less different, and if you want a different type of movie that involves some sadomasochistic ideas... Then this might be for you. The problem with this movie and genre is that so many other movies have set the standards so high for this genre, such as Seven, and Silence of the Lambs that at times... We become so spoiled by those movies that we sometimes can't take these movies for what they are. In my humble opinion the movie kept my interest, but it is easily forgotten.
