Growing up in Syracuse, I was 13 years old in the fall of 1960 and just finished my third year playing Pop Warner football. Go LeMoyne Giants ! As a Syracuse native, it was neat to see the way the movie makers super imposed the old Archibold Stadium into the movie. The Carrier Dome is certainly special but not sure it has the same "character" as Archibold Hearing the names of Ernie Davis and his teammates brought back memories of the pride our city had in the accomplishments of that Championship team and the sadness of the early death of Ernie Davis. It appears that there was some "literary license" used by the directors/producers of the film but it is a film that all residents of Onondaga County and followers and supporters of SU should see and a film recommended for all football fans,
