If you are reading this you probably are going to see this movie anyway.
Remember how that pirate was cut in half in the first one? You won't see that this time. I don't mean actually, I just mean you won't be picking up your jaw off the cinema floor. There is more than enough blood and guts for most, myself included, but I miss the shock of the "half-pirate" Dolph Lundgrin special (more lines and more likeable this time by the way). Jet Li was onboard for the first 10 minutes and then zip. His presence was like that spice thats missing in a perfect recipe. Good, it just wasn't quite the same. Frankly speaking the total absence of "Tool" was equally unfortunate.
Now, Arnold. Arnold, Arnold. He has been out of the movies for a long time but it was not necessary to remind people of his past movies. I for one see his acting prowess on cable many times during the year so for me it's like he never left, just got older. Also, I didn't think I'd care one way or the other about "Walker, Texas Ranger", but he was a balance point that was needed and at the right time (good edit work). Plus, I give him the "Best Kill" award of the movie for his airport terminal e-ray baggage machine. Even now it was so over the top that I can't help but laugh.
Stop reading this and go watch the damn thing.
