Empire was awesome. This movie still carries the entire series. Star Wars was definetly cool, but as Episode VI, I, II prove, this was a fluke for Lucas. The combo punch of Star Wars and Empire launched this series. Unfortunately, Lucas got control of the production, and we are still suffering. The bastard took 20 years to make the prequels. And, he is totally messing these up beyond belief. I am not sure that I will even see Episode III yet... Episode II was so disappointing.
