This would make a great rainy-day video rental. Great performances, beautiful scenery, but muddled throughout. I found the ending to be a bit premature, as well.more»0 of 1 people found this review helpful-

One of the most boring movies I have ever seen. Do not look for sense in this movie as there is none. A waste of time and money.more»0 of 1 people found this review helpful-

portrayal of an artist demonized by his guilt and grief is magnificent. …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

I went into this movie not knowing anything about the book it's taken from. I hadn't even heard about it until my girlfriend mentioned it. She's a big Jeff Bridges fan, and after seeing it I know why. He plays odd, believable characters. …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

While The movie deals with a couple's coping with a tragedy, there were moments of sly and intelligently placed humor. The film was very well acted and directed. The stereotype of the "Bohemian artist" continues but in interesting circu …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful
