It is hard to describe this movie as a comedy. Based on the stars, one assumes it is a comedy. Plus, there are the obligatory scenes where these comedic actors get to show of their humor. But this is a dark story, and it's not very funny.
Ron Howard directed this film, but you can't easily tell. This movie does not work. It is an interesting film with a promising premise: friend sees his best friends spouse cheating. This movie runs off the rails. There are scenes that are pretty hilariously implausible, except it isn't funny; it's just sort of uncomfortable.
