This movie is not a comedy. If they were trying to make some of the scenes funny, they completely failed. But I am not sure they even tried, it was hard to tell. A comedic scene would be set up, but the dialog wasn't funny and they wouldn't take advantage of the situation. They would avoid the cliche but their alternative was worst. It was embarrasing. Vince Vaughn is not an actor, he is just Vince Vaughn. Kevin James added nothing. Ron Howard directed? It is hard to imagine.
