Tries hard to tell a different story, and somewhat succeeds because of the strange dramatic situation. But interaction between characters is forced and annoying at times. Dialog is needlessly peppered with "tough" talking teens. Clooney is flat. some actors seem out of their depth. Not sure if the director was going for realism, but storytelling does not get below the surface. Impression...eh.
