The Departed(2006)- User Reviews

This is my favorite crime next to Heat and GoodFellas which is also a Scorsese film. It proved to top all other movies -despite the "Crime" genre- in 2006 and deserves an Oscar for best picture and for Scorsese (just give it to him already). The "on your heels" story is just as suspenseful just as it is insightful with arsenal of well played out roles by DiCaprio,Damon,Whalberg and my favorite, Nicholson. They say the original ("Infernal Affairs") is just as good and I still have to see that movie, but as of now I think this is the better film.
