I have been a fan of the Darwin Awards ever since I first heard of them a decade or so ago. So, when a movie was coming out based on these elaborately stupid acts of death, I had to buy. Alas, the movie failed in its attempt.

This film surprized me by how good it was...the basic premise and use of vignettes to illustrate events. It was good to see Winona Ryder back at work. The film should have had a proper release. It was very entertaining.more»

Winona Ryder and Joseph Fiennes are amazing performers. The directing is unnoticable- a positive trait in this movie because it allows the ensemble cast to shine. The story is highly original but grounded. Another positive trait.
