The Dark Knight Rises(2012)- User Reviews

I have not particularly liked this set of 3 Nolan films except for the outstanding performance of Heath Ledger as the Joker. This film I thought was too long and I found the Bane character uninteresting and very, very difficult to understand. They never fully explained how the morphine like drugs Bane is inhaling also made him super strong or why his voice sounded both amplified and distorted at the same time.

While the ending left open the possibility for further Batman films I sincerely hope whoever takes this character on is more interesting than Christian Bale who is out acted by Michael Cain in every scene they both are in. Since I started by talking about weird voice effects - why was it that Bale's Batman always used his "radio voice" when in costume and that it also sounded very processed and amplified - does Batman's Cowl include an always on version of Pro Tools?

It's an event film but not that much fun to watch....
