bane is a decent bad guy,but he must be cause so much trouble in gotham, that he is the only bad guy. so all we can do is wait and see. and hope it comes out good. second, joker is a psycho, but he is also meant to be funny. in the last movie, he was funny a few times. i disliked the dark knight cause he wasnt funny, but to serious

ok first of all no villian will ever get better then heath ledgers joker. On cat woman I wish they went for sexy and curves like the best catwoman julie newmar had. I could easily see Eva Mendes in that role.

I have to disagree Jack Nichalson was the best joker.

Eve Mendes would've been super hot.

The series in the comics where Bane "breaks" Batman was called Knightfall, and it was awesome. Bane releases all of the prisoners in Arkem Asylum in order to wear down Batman while trying to re-capture them all. Bane takes advantage of the Bat's lack of strength and break's his back during a battle. Azreal fills in as Batman while Bruce Wayne recovers from the injury. If you haven't read it, I highly recommend it.

Batman doesn't die ... at least not in the comics ... he gets old
& is replaced by a younger version in the cartoons ... where they going with this??
    • Tracey 24 days ago
Batman does "die" in the original DC Comic. His spine is broken by Bane. It's an issue called the breaking of batman I believe.
    • Peter Vine 23 days ago
Tracey, that's only half-true. His spine IS broken by "the man who broke the Bat," but it doesn't kill him- he just spends it recovering, and in the meantime Azreal, a different superhero, takes over the role of protector of Gotham.

he gets his back broken, then replaced with a lamer younger guy for a while (not a robin) then he comes back. thats how Bane got the nickname "The Breaker of Men"

I have a feeling that you are just trolling. There is no way someone could really put those words together as you just did and it be accepted as correct English. You say Jack Nicholson was the better joker but you have failed to see Heath Ledger's Joker. And Tim Burton? lol sounds to me like you are a disgruntled hipster who watches Nightmare before Christmas while touching yourself.

The Hobbit will make more money going to break box office records....for sure!
    • Roger Smith 24 days ago
That doesnt mean its gonna be a better movie... which it wont. You must be eatin mushrooms on the reg to enjoy that fantasy elf garbage. It wont even be as good as any of the Lord of the Rings films.

this batman saga is the best so far. im a fan of the comics and the 1949 tv cereal clips.. having said that i approve this movie. ps. iv'e read the first bane appearance and it ruled but had no real ending or a final bane fight with a healed bat.. sure nolan will fix this gap in the movie. he he haa ha!

First of all Tim Burton's Batman movies were a "bad joke" as the Joker says. Those movies were corny and stupid. Christopher Nolan's version is more visceral and powerful and more real than Burton's ever were. The batmobile is awesome. Christian Bale is awesome. Heath Ledger was awesome and the Scarecrow looked awesome too. Look at box office sales and critics reviews you turd. The newer Batman movies are supreme. Batman returns with crusty old Michael Keaton was a fart show. Get it straight dude.

No doubt the Nolan Batman films are great and most definitely better, but Burton's Batman films are far from what you depict them as. Maybe it was because I was a kid, but I found Burton's films to be downright terrifying. And it was a fresh face from the campy Batman TV series. I would say both Nolan's and Burton's films are on the same level of film sophistication.

Bat-girl? Robin? adding a side kick makes Batman look less of a Bad /\ss. Bain looks little less intimidating than ronald mcdonald.... I hope the acting and story will make up for its first impression.
