The movie is very colorful but it is not very funny. Its a movie for kids up to the age of 8 and not so intelligent older ones. I think if you watch this movie on a 2D you would sleep through it but the 3D effects are good. The movie showing the dad throwing the family members to the other side was really difficult to watch and I am hoping the little kids would not try to attempt this with their younger siblings. My 10 year old and myself went with a lot of expectation but was very disappointed with this movie.
