This movie will not be for everyone. Basically about people so wrapped in themselves they ignore the important people in their lives - children, wives, husbands, friends, etc.
Movie starts with a kid named Troy who hangs himself. From there were see how very few people react or care about this.
It's an extreme point of view made with some very good actors who agreed to be in this movie. It's quirkly and oddballish at times. Lots of ironies in it like where Billy (the bad kid) talks earlier in the film about going into the military and how he has perfect vision, yet later in a knife incident has his eyes slash.
The parents ignore the drug dealing and using of their children only to be subjected to the drugs, mashed up and inserted in some casserole's made for a memorial brunch. They eat the casserole's and drugs in them and laugh and act accordingly to being drug induced.
Lots of strange things happen, but the point is well made. The final scene where the main character, Dean, goes to Troy's memorial at Troy's mother's house, and he opens up to Troy's mother, is very touching and almost unexpected considering how the rest of the movie goes.
Not for everyone. But pay attention and it might make you think more about those around you.
