Gosh. This movie is just plain awesome. Enough said.
But seriously, didn't you ever think about how one person can change the lives of others? This movie is really it then to that question. This teacher qui s'appelle Mathieu comes into the lives of the children at Fond de L'Etang a school for troubled/neglected kids. The characters are very memorable. From Pepinot an adorable kid but a little slow and who waits for his father at the gate every Saturday to come, which never happens. and Pierre the angel-faced boy who distances himself from everyone else. And then Mathieu comes in and through a lot of tumultuous and moving moments this movie creates beautiful and aesthetic memories.
This is definitely worth watching a few times. :)
