Synopsis

The careers and personal lives of a group of bigoted and hard-drinking Los Angeles policemen are examined. Although the officers provide emotional support for each other, they are lacking in sensitivity and judgement on the job. And when one of them accidentally shoots a teenage homosexual in a city park, his fellow officers as well as their superiors are involved with a cover-up of the incident.
