At first I thought I was going to see a movie with a lot of laughs. I was surprised that many of the laughs are tied to actual events although exaggerated for the yuks. For example, Will Ferrell's character getting shot (Cheney shooting his hunting partner). Ferrell's character's $900 haircuts, mistress, and the North Carolina connection (John Edwards). What I also found interesting is a similar format to Tading Places, which starred Dan Akroyd, and which he plays a similar role to the Duke brother's of that movie. There are other shots at the Washington environment as well, and they deserve it.
