There must be something of value in this movie, as I just wasted an hour or so of my life, and somehow feel compelled to waste another hour warning my fellow humans that the scariest part of the movie is the fact that so much time, talent and cash was expended to create this admittedly engaging, yet painfully infantile, worn-out cliche-fest. I tried to finish it twice, as it is a very shiny visual object, but when Sigourney showed up and decimated any remaining professional credibility, it became just too embarrassing and I had to stop trying to find the value in this soul-less endeavor that others have raved about. Sorry. I tried to finish. Twice. But if you like zombies, definitely watch this movie. It's full of previously live actors, walking mindlessly through a script that's totally void of humanity. It will make you really appreciate that moment in time that you turn it off and the nausea starts to ease.
