The Bucket List(2007)- User Reviews

Great heart with an even greater message

The Bucket List is heart-warming, tear jerking, and absolutely hysterical at times. For Carter, life as a mechanic has become rather dull. When he discovers that his cancer has spread, he devises a bucket list to do all the things he should do before his life is over. Joining him is a riotous hospital owner named Edward who has become distant from his family. The Bucket List may seem at points cliched but honestly Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman sell the story so well one just doesn't care. Their acting is incredibly well done and both deliver some gut-bustingly funny lines. The "Live for Today" message is constantly played out and lives one coming out maybe slightly teary-eyed but with a smile on their face. The Bucket List is well worth the experience so best to ignore the critics and see for oneself how impressive and heart-warming this film truly is.
