Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman were great together. The "bucket list," when they got around to doing it was great.
But . . . it took forever in a hospital room suffering through the sadness of cancer and its treatments before they ever got to the bucket list. They could have cut a lot from that.
These guys did great when they were out doing their bucket list.
The tension created by Freeman's wife not wanting him to go was an unnecessary drain and constant distraction from the freedom these 2 unlikely friends had gained for their last time on earth.
It appeared the movie ran out of money before concluding the bucket list and just brought them home.
So, great concept, great actors, director had the wrong emphasis and unnecessary tension dragging down the high spirits of a fine idea.
