Daniel Day-Lewis is THE man

Wow, Daniel Day-Lewis stunned me again in his turn in "The Boxer". He is my all-time favorite actor! I loved him in previous Sheridan films, (In the name of the Father, My left Foot), but nobody seems to talk about this movie. This was exceptionally done, well directed (with great helicopter shots), and the acting was flawless. It is my favorite boxing movie too.
