This is a truly beautiful movie. Superbly acted it deals with so much reality and truth. As a veteran myself, I found so much to relate to in this story from a previous war. Sadly, so many veterans in all wars come home to an indifferent society. …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

This story speaks to the lingering effects of war on many levels. The acting is stellar, particularly that of Harold Russell, an untrained actor and a real war veteran who lost both hands during WWII.
