Marvel's The Avengers(2012)- User Reviews

Was this the best movie ever? No. Was this the best superhero movie ever? No. But was it a good movie and worth seeing? Yes! The beginning of the film was a bit slow for my liking, and I would have personally liked more fight scenes with the group as a whole, but as an action film this movie was very well done. I will say that the film is best near the end, and that part alone makes the film worth watching. The plot seems somewhat cliche (as do many nowadays), but that's not what you see this movie for, it's for the characters, and the heroes and supporting characters in the film are all made to be likable in their own regard even to people who aren't already comic book readers or avid superhero fans. This is my favorite superhero movie since Watchmen, and certainly one of my favorite recent films!
