NOW: LIAM NEESON Irish actor Liam Neeson seems like an unlikely choice to play the wisecracking Hannibal, but he has always balanced his serious dramatic role with action heroics. One of his first American jobs was a guest spot on "Miami Vice" in 1986. He played Patrick Swayze's brother in "Next of Kin," the disfigured superhero "Darkman," and, of course, a Jedi master in "The Phantom Menace." For a while, it looked like Neeson was going to be stuck playing the mentor to the young hero in movies like "Kingdom of Heaven." But he scored a surprise hit as the man of action in 2008's "Taken." Neeson is in talks to reprise the role in a "Taken" sequel, but he's waiting to see if the writers can come up with "a plot that will be believable." less
