One of his first American jobs was a guest spot on "Miami Vice" in 1986. He played Patrick Swayze's brother in "Next of Kin," the disfigured superhero "Darkman," and, of course, a Jedi master in "The Phantom Menace." For a while, it looked like Neeson was going to be stuck playing the mentor to the young hero in movies like "Kingdom of Heaven." But he scored a surprise hit as the man of action in 2008's "Taken." Neeson is in
talks to reprise the role in a "Taken" sequel, but he's waiting to see if the writers can come up with "a plot that will be believable."
