A friend treated me to this movie on Sunday. And although I thought the film sweet, well acted (the main actor really fits the era) and overall artistically well executed -- with the exception of a few mistakes for the period my friend and I caught -- I'm glad I didn't pay for it. Otherwise, I would have definitely waited until it was on Netflix. However, I commend the production team for trying something different in this era of bland cinematic offerings.
