The Anniversary Party(2001)- User Reviews

This film is visually stunning, the whole story is set in a gorgeous, glass designer house and gardens. The couple celebrating their wedding anniversary are actors, and most of their friends are lovies too. This gives the film a satyrical edge that makes it more enjoyable, it is like a bunch of Hollywood actors making fun of themselves. The whole story evolves in just 24 hours but in this time we get to learn volumes about all of them and their neighbours too.
It is funny and sad, compelling and modern. Really enjoyable film if you like arty, different and quite gritty films.
