I agree that the movie is the same as the first one, it doesn't show any new agenda or a different pathway or a tagline. It just adds a little spice to the so called franchise yet it does however bring about some good feel moments that the first movie and it's entire franchise failed to adopt, and that is the view of the world of spidy through his eyes.
Though it sucked at many angels yet it did prove to entertain us in some way or another, or we won't be watching it anyway.
The third part of the original Maguire's spider-man was a disaster but when we compare that with this, this is bit better, though it lacked some reptilian visual add-ons. It could have been better and had the potential to be a masterpiece.
However the cast of this movie dint let us all down , Garfield made a a wonderful performance and having a good cast made this movie worth watching. If it had unknown newbees to this movie it would have been a complete disaster just like Conan 2011, a total failure.
