Ifans was born in Wales in 1967 and garnered attention early on as a presenter for the Welsh-language quiz show "Stwnsh." After "Notting Hill," Ifans appeared in a string of movies, from "Little Nicky" to "Hannibal Rising" to "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1," in which he played Xenophilius Lovegood.
