I was not expecting much based on the premise, but boy was I glad I went to see it. It was hysterical. Mark Wahlberg was, surprisingly, funny and engaging. Mila Kunis was terrific as always and the supporting cast was perfect. For those complaining about the movie, sometimes you have to just sit back and enjoy. What did you expect from Seth MacFarland anyway? Having seen my share of Academy Award nominee stinkers and a bevy of Adam Sandler, Chris Rock and other SNL alumni failures, it was nice to see something that was just plain entertaining. The nearly sold out Sunday matinee house seemed to agree.
